Description
Both the G410 fairway woods and G410 hybrid offer more customizable options than previous-generation (G400) clubs. It starts with the adjustable hosel. In the fairway woods, the range of lofts (+/-1.5°) and lie angle (neutral to 3° flat) is greater than before. As the first PING hybrid to feature an adjustable hosel, the G410 provides the same loft/lie variation as the woods. Each club in the G410 family also has a fixed tungsten backweight for added stability. (The CG in fairway woods is slightly forward of the G400 for greater energy transfer.) The fairway woods come in three head styles: Standard, LST (Low Spin) and SFT (Straight Flight). The LST 3-wood is slightly smaller with a lower, more forward CG to launch higher shots with less spin. The SFT heads are larger than the Standard version, provide maximum fade correction due to added heel-side weighting, and have weaker lofts (by 1.5° per club) so shots get airborne more easily. The fairway woods and hybrids have the C300 maraging-steel face (same as G400) to generate more face flex and faster ball speeds.
